As a leading sustainable timber flooring company, and certified by FSC (www.fsc.org), Tembec promote re-use of exising flooring where possible. We can assess existing wood flooring systems for use as reclaimed flooring. Subject to survey, Tembec can uplift and relocate or replace structural solid or engineered (semi-solid) flooring with a minimum thickness of 18mm.
Apple Computers in Cork replaced their existing Junkers beech sports flooring system with a new FSC maple system in January 2009. The beech floor was fully reclaimed and re-used as standard flooring in a non sports environment. See Apple Project Reference for pictures and details.
